ISTQB Advanced (CTAL-AT v2.0) Mock Exam #2
This mock exam mirrors the real ISTQB Certified Tester Advanced Level Agile Tester (CTAL-AT) v2.0 exam: 40 questions, 90 minutes, and 34 of 52 points required to pass (65%). Scoring is weighted exactly as in the official exam structure — a K2 question is worth 1 point, a K3 question 2 points and a K4 question 3 points; there are no K1 questions in this syllabus. The questions follow the official distribution across the six syllabus chapters: 5 on Test Strategy and Test Approach Challenges, 5 on People and Teams, 7 on Test Management and Test Process Improvement (including 2 K4 questions), 9 on Shift Left (including 2 K3 questions), 12 on Agile Approaches and Test Techniques (4 K3 and 1 K4) and 2 on Test Automation and Test Tools. Scenarios are set in telemedicine, online learning, fleet logistics and insurance claims handling, and cover holistic testing, biases, testing quadrants, test debt metrics, user story slicing, test charters, session-based exploratory testing and test smells. Every answer option carries its own rationale explaining why it is right or wrong, plus an explanation for the question as a whole, so a wrong answer still teaches you the syllabus point behind it.
